Intensive Services:  

What is it? 

Intensive Services programming includes a range of services. These services are customized and delivered based on the assessed needs of the children, youth or families. Intensive services are delivered in a variety of settings; home, school, in community.  

Goals 

  • Reduce the severity of mental health concerns.
  • Strengthen coping and resilience. 
  • Enhance awareness and understanding of the needs. 
  • Improve functioning at home, school and in the community.
  • Stabilize and transition to less intensive services. 
  • Ensure that children, youth and their families receive the right service at the right time, and in the right place.

Who is it for?  

  • Children, youth (up to the age of 18), families and their supports.

  • Talk to your Mental Health Provider about this enhanced service.
