Family Capacity Building and Support

What is it?
Family Capacity Building and Support programs promote the resilience of families, the integral role families have to play, and their capacity to support children and youth with mental health concerns. Capacity building and support services will enable the entire family to better address a child or youth's mental health concerns and be active partners in the delivery of core services.
Goals
- Support timely, effective early intervention
- Reduce the need for more intensive and intrusive intervention
- Develop family capacity
- Connect families to services when appropriate
- Improve child and youth functioning
Who is it for?
- Children, youth (up to the age of 18), families and their supports.
